Coopers Hawk alternative from enature.com field guide

This coopers hawk, crow sized, is shown in flight with a rust bib. however the standing bird looks less like the visitor I had. My visitor definitely had white and rust speckled belly. It's back and hood were a smooth grey. Under the chin was a rust bib.

My recent backyard siting, what appeared to be a Sharp-shinned hawk feasting on a small bird during our early January '04 cold spell. If you can find a similar bird-eating hawk with a solid rust bib, please email me at info@unitypond.net. This bird was observed in Windsor, CT USA.

Kent Mesplay Green Candidate Native American

"Bush will crumble under the weight of his own ineptitude. He and his party offer nothing for the future...not even security. We will continue to attract votes from the Republican Party, with our message of campaign finance reform and our call for a smaller central government and more regional security, affected in part by moving toward a National Energy Policy Based upon Renewables. We Greens are both pro management and pro labor when we emphasize the importance of supporting small businesses, wherein owners work hard. Our main issues truly are majoritarian and, increasingly, populist. We are the party of today.
"

Frye Bread Fans Should check out this Green party candidate from San Diego!
