SOAW

For consideration:

SOAW: "After the leader of their union was shot down at their plant gate in late 1996, Edgar Paez and his co-workers at the Coca-Cola bottling factory in Carepa, Colombia, tried for more than four years to get their government to take action against the responsible parties. Instead, some of the workers themselves wound up behind bars, while the murderers went free. "

Hooded Skunk

I see the pond!

A variety of this skunk has been spotted (seen) in parts of Southern New England - Southwick, Massachusetts, Vernon and Willimantic Conenctic CT. It appears before dawn or at dusk looking for bugs in the ground which may have surfaced, or catfood put out by unsuspecting neighbors...

My Mom found this description:
"The hooded skunk is similar in overall appearance to the related striped skunk (Mephitis mephitis). Their fur is slightly longer and softer than the striped skunk. The hooded skunk has two basic color morphs. In the more common one, which gives the species its common name, the back is entirely white, "

John Kerry for President - Economy

John Kerry for President - Economy: "Invest In The Jobs Of Tomorrow
Today, businesses are harnessing new technology to manufacture energy-efficient cars, high-grade steel, advanced plastics and other new products. And this requires a bigger, skilled labor force to make them. John Kerry and John Edwards believe we should invest in these jobs and invest in the people who will fill them."
